Welcome Halloween =)

I'm so glad the heat wave has left and autumn is knocking on the door.  Along with the cooler weather, it brings gorgeous colors, sweet smells, yummy food, and lots of family time.  I'm getting a head start on my Halloween decorating this year since I want to do as much handmade as possible.  So this year I made this fun wreath to hang outside.

The ribbon was decorated with cut files from Scrapping Bug Designs
I used HTV and my heat press to make it
I added a set of big eyes and a big spider (yuck!)

Hope you have enjoyed my little project!  I'm already working on a fall one =)

For my project today, I created a digital layout. I love how you are able to take the files from these amazing companies and use them for digital projects as well. I'm not one to 'print' my photos so using a digital layout is a fun way to showcase them without the hassle. Plus it's easy to share a page with the family.

For this layout I used Photoshop
The background and all elements were created by me
Bear is from Treasure Box Designs (Tear Teaddy)
Mermaid Costume is a Tear Teddy Outfit from Treasure Box Designs
Crab and Starfish are from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs
Waves are from SVG Cuts

Thanks for visiting my blog today! Now I must sent you swimming over to Maria's blog

A Little Crazy Fun =)

Welcome to our Crazy Dog and Cupcake Blog Hop!  What started out as a random idea for a blog hop turned into a funny theme!  We threw out some ideas on different "odd observances" in the up coming months ~ one being National Dog Day and the other Cupcake Day ~ everyone seemed to like these two themes so we put it to a vote!  Who would have thought it would have turned into a tie?!  So we voted once more ~ thanks to Pamela's creative thinking, she put the two together.  What could be more fun than working with dogs and cupcakes!  So sit back and enjoy the fun and creative projects the group has put together for you today!

No blog hop would be complete without some fun blog candy to win!  Today we have a very gracious sponsor ~ KaDoodle Bug Designs is giving one lucky winner $15 in free files!  All you have to do to win the prize is:
1.  Comment on each stop along the way
2.  Like KaDoodle Bug Designs Facebook page
3.  Join their fun group on Facebook

Your line up today is:

I really had so much fun creating my project for today!  Who would have thought putting these two ideas together could be such fun?!  So I created a little cupcake box all decorated in dog and cupcake paper.  I even added a fun dog hiding behind a cupcake to the side.  I even uncovered the Cuttlebug to do a little embossing on the cupcake ~ then sanded it for added fun =)  I have a friend who is celebrating her dog's birthday this weekend and plan on picking up her pooch a little something from the doggy bakery we have =)

For this project I used:
Sailor Puppy and Cupcake Mouse from KaDoodle Bug Designs
Recollections Paper
Paper Studio Paper
Core'dinations Sand it Paper
White Gelly Roll Pen
White Ribbon

Thank you for hopping along with us today!  We hope you have enjoyed our fun hop.

Our back to school was almost a month ago and it's so hard to believe my son is a freshmen in high school and my step-son is now in 6th grade!  Oh how the years fly by!  Back to school is just another day in our house ~ no special rituals or celebrations, but it's still a special time as we get to watch our kids grow.  For my project today I made this adorable little pencil box!  I'm a HUGE fan of Bear Hugs files and was so excited to use this one!  Be sure to stop by and grab this freebie before it's gone =)

For this project I used:

Recollections Paper
Pencil Box from Silhouette Store
School Owl Freebie from Bear Hugs
Foam Tape

Whether you will be starting out listening to the” Wheels on the Bus” Nursery Rhyme or at the end of the year listening to “The Graduation March”,  get yourself a big box of tissues, walk your baby out the door and take a deep breath. It’s a long 12 years! Have fun and take lots of pictures!
