Polka Dot Pal Christmas

I love Little Miss Muffet Stamps ~ they are so cute and super fun to color!  Today I am showing you one of the new Polka Dot Pals digi (Issie).  I can remember many cold winter days out sledding so this one was a must have for me =)

I added some glossy accents to the tube to give it a plastic look.  Frosted Lace stickles accent her cute hat.  The center section of the card is embossed with a snowflake folder.  Love how this one turned out.

I have entered my card in Little Miss Muffets Challenge # 73 - Seeing Dots

Candle card

One more blog post today with a Christmas card =) (although I do have more on my Facebook page)

This one is also featuring SK Digi's Sketch (found here)

I love Kraft paper!  It gives that warm country feel that I love!  I turned my card landscape for a different feel =)

I embossed the red cardstock with an elegant snowflake folder.  The panels were all cut very closely to give it a split image feel.  The candle digi is from SK Digi's.  Colored it with Copic markers and added xmas red, yellow and diamond stickles.  The melted wax is covered in Glossy Accents to give it the feel of a real candle.

This card has also been entered in SK Digi's Sketch Challenge # 26.

Rejoice

This year I'm really enjoying the old fashioned Christmas cards I've been making.  They all share the same old fashioned colors and warm cozy feel.

I used SK Digi's sketch layout for this one.  I love the sketches - they are quick and really make for lovely cards.

I spruced up the panels with some red fiber ribbon I had from Valentine's Day.  The Christmas tree has some Stickles for snow.  In the corner is a cute Santa brad.  The sentiment is done with red embossing powder.

You can find the current SK Digi's sketch here.

Another Penguin card =)

Here is one more penguin card in my series.

It's another SK Digis file and I think they are just so cute!

For this card I went very untraditional.  I really like the boldness of red and black together and thought this would be a perfect color combo for this cutie. All the paper is from my recent trip to Archivers - they have the cutest paper!  This little fella got a xmas red Stickle had to add a little dimension to him.

The sketch is the current challenge at SKDigis.

I did change the layout of the strips in the center to offset it just a tick =)

Penguin Christmas Card

This is the first of many posts today =)  I've been crafting Christmas cards for the past 2 days and am really enjoying the turnout.

Up first is the adorable penguin card I created using an SK Digis stamp.

He is not the cutest?  I love these images!  I added some flocking to his hat to give it a realistic feel.  The paper is from DCWV winter stack from last year - I didn't keep track of what paper came from which stack in my card making... too many to remember =)
