Altered Journal

I have a friend who won a grant to go to Alaska so I thought I would alter a book for her to journal her experience. I used 8 different SK files all found at www.scraptasticalkreations.com they are: Jumping Rope, Sun freebie, Half Flower, Little Dreamers, KISS - This & That, Hide 'n Seek Bears, Whoo Loves you best?, and Label It, Tag It and Frame It. It's so much fun combining different SK files to create a fun project!

We have Covers =)

One of my passions is sewing.  I love taking a stack of fabric and making something beautiful.  When my Cameo first arrived, before I even plugged the machine in, I created a dust cover for it.  I also decided to make a matching one for my Cuttlebug machine too =)  Here are some that I have made.  If you are interested in ordering one, you can find out more about them on my Facebook page.  We do make them for Cricut Expressions (and all machines), Big Shots, or just about anything out there!

New Projects

Here are a few new projects I've been working on.

This is the Tag Album which is the weekly freebie available in the Scraptastical Kreations store.  My first ever mini-album, I decided to make this one to showcase my hubby's racing photos.  Each mat is colors of the flags at the track and they have been decorated with fitting stickers.  The ribbons are colors of the car, number on the front is done in vinyl to match the lettering, and I added to "screw" brads to tie it shut.  I had so much fun making this and I'm sure you would too!   Stop by today and get FREE =)

Here's a cute little Easter card using the SK set Beary Sweet Easter and the Label It, Tag It, Frame It set.  Inside the card is decorated with colorful jelly beans.

Here is holder for all my homemade glimmer mist ~ using the 3x3 Note Pad Holder & Cover.  The possibilites are endless with the set!

During the recent Scrap-Lift It Challenge at Scraptastical Kreations, we had to alter a notebook.  I altered my Smash book using the Borders set and Label It, Tag It, Frame it set.  I absolutely love the owl charm!

Here's another Easter card using all Scraptastical Kreation files.  Files used were the:
Elegant Florals
Borders
Label It, Tag It, Frame It
Eggs 2 Dye 4

Happy Valentine's Day!

Wishing everyone a fabulous Valentine's Day!  Hope everyone gets to spend it with someone they love =)

Today I created my last Valentine's Day project ~ an elegant looking door hanger.  The base is a dark red color, topped with a distressed black print.  The phrase was created in Silhouette Studio.  The flower is my favorite part of it all!  It's flower #5 in the Garden Splendor design set from Scraptastical Kreations.  I used homemade glimmer mist in a rose color on it once it was all formed.  I really love the way this turned out!

You can find both files in the SK store along with many amazing designs.

If you are interested in the Do Not Disturb file, you can download it free here. (It is only available in .studio)

Scrap-Lift Challenge ~ Beach Layout

This is my layout for the Scrap-Lift This challenge Scraptastical kreations. The design set is 'Just Beachy' and it is so much fun to work with =) The background is made up of a beach scene and a sand paper joined together with a tan ribbon. I used some embossing powders on the beach pail to give it a plastic look, the "white caps" on the waves, and on the title (which was done to resemble sand being stuck to everything when you leave the beach!). I am not much of a layout person, but I love how this one turned out.  You still have time to get your interpretation of the Scrap-Lift This challenge posted for a chance to win FREE files =)

Projects

Just uploaded most of my projects I have completed since joining the Scraptastical Kreations Design Team.  Hope it gives some inspiration or encourages you to stop by the SK store and check out all the AWESOME designs available.

Tomorrow I will be posting my Scrap-Lift This layout challenge ~ I'm not a layout person so this was definitely a challenge for me.
