This gingerbread house is too cute for words!! It was a freebie from SVG Cuts and I'm so glad I was able to get it and create something so adorable. It gave me the opportunity to use my new birthday gift ~ the Copic airbrush!! I'm addicted to it after one use... oh the possibilities!
The gingerbread house is large - uses 8 sheets of brown cardstock and 5 sheets for the icing. All of which resulted in a trip to the craft store coz I already knew the base had to be kraft so I could airbrush some color like a real gingerbread. And of course no gingy house can be complete without some adorable cuties in the windows!
I used the following on this creation:
SVG Cuts Happy Holidays set
Recollections Kraft and White cardstock
Patterned paper is from Recollections Jolly Holiday stack
Peachy Keen Stamps - PK1346 Picture Snow Day
Vellum (has sparkles in it)
Handmade dew drops for the lights on the roof
Dew Drops from the Robin's Nest
Copic Airbrush and markers
Ki Adhesive Gems
Archival Coffee Ink
Distress Inks in Antique Linen, tea dye, rusty hinge, walnut stain
Stickles: Baby Blue, Christmas Red, Holly, distress milled lavender, Orange Peel, Cotton Candy, Frosted Lace (almost the whole bottle!!)
Blue ribbon
and of course my Cameo
I have entered this project in the following challenge:
All that Stickles Happy Holidays Linky Party
Over and over again I like to think about these difficulties. In fact it wasn't even a month ago that I was thinking about it. Frankly, what is your thought though?..Cccam Server
