Here's another cute treat holder to add to your list this Easter. Cadbury Eggs are my Achilles heel ~ I could eat them anytime and never get tired of them! So I thought this little egg holder would be super cute and of course, KaDoodle Bug Designs has the PERFECT die cut to match this project.
For your holder you will want to cut your card stock to the following dimensions:
Cut your base piece 2" x 7" (score at 3" and 4 1/2")
Cut your candy insert 2" x 3" (score at 1/4" and 1/2" on all 4 sides)
Using a border punch/die clip the ends of the treat holder. Punch a small hole in the center of both ends as well.
Remove the 4 corners of the candy insert. Find the center of the candy insert, use a 1" circle die or punch and make a circle.
Next, you will fold the score lines on your base. Using your double sided tape, apply some on all 4 bottom pieces and tape the tray inside your candy holder. I then added my adorable chick with her yummy egg to the outside with foam tape. Using a small piece of ribbon, close the holder. These are such a cute way to hand out yummy eggs to all!
